Hi, I'm Molly.

I'm a natural fiber artist, educator and sheep shearer based in San Diego, California.

My work revolves around each part of the fiber lifecycle, from shearing sheep to creating functional textile art.

It's gratifying to cultivate community through craft, being both a student and teacher of natural textile systems. I aim to inspire a more mindful approach to the art of making and wearing clothing.

My current offerings:

Slow fashion practices & natural textile systems

  • "Molly helped us all unleash our inner creative quilter, and we pieced together an abstract block with any shapes or sizes we wanted. It allowed everyone, even people like myself who are really intimidated by quilting, to walk out of class having learned that quilting isn't always about straight lines and perfect stitching. Molly does an exceptional job seeing the artist in each person and making art accessible to everyone. I love learning from her!"

  • "Molly's kindness, work ethic, problem solving and creativity made my life so much easier while working together on a project for an art show. I am a clay artist and Molly helped turn my vision into reality, showcasing ceramics through fiber art. She is knowledgable, flexible and an amazing teacher!"
